from 1969 to 1972, billy performed with buddy rich and the buddy rich band. buddy and his musicians were deeply impressed by his ability play so well at such a young age. buddy remarked, "billy is the youngest talent i have every seen." in the late 70's, billy was on tour with national hit recording artists, "the orlons", who had hits such as "wa-watusi", "south street", and "don't hang up". most recently, billy was the subject of a feature article in the "june 2003" issue of modern drummer as well as the "february 2005" issue of drum! magazine. and today, he is married to his beautiful wife tisha and has three beautiful grandchildren.
